I’m always happy to DP a Frantic Studio production, but this one was especially exciting for me. Steinway & Sons has come out with the next-generation player piano: the Spirio. It’s freaking amazing. It’s a flawless grand piano in every way, plus it has mechanics to record and replay anything you play on it, PLUS, Steinway has put together a library of greats like Duke Ellington so you can watch a video of them playing and listen to it as if they were sitting right there at the piano! Shooting with my head inside the piano as this world-class pianist performed Chopin was kind of amazing.
