Client: Boldsquare

It was so much fun going wild with color on these, a series of interviews with musicians using the funding platform BeatBread. I used a daylight-balanced soft key with an eggcrate to control the spill, and hit them with a hard pink edge on camera left and deep purple on camera right, with Aputure RGBW lights to color the background, matching swatches their art department had provided earlier.

I handled post for these too, and created a gradient overlay to really make the colors pop and further push the vintage-film vibe. The client was a dream to work with, and I can’t wait to make more!
